这个网站是一个全世界立体书纸艺师的免费在线公共资料库，包括从梅根多夫（Lothar Meggendorfer）以来的大多数主流纸艺师以及他们的所有作品，面向全世界所有的立体书爱好者，收藏家，纸艺师。
为什么要建这个网站？
作为一名小小的立体书收藏者，我经常会有以下困惑和好奇问题：
- 全世界到底有多少纸艺师？分布在哪些国家？男女比例是多少？
- 这本书的纸艺师是谁？他还做了哪些书？
- 这个系列我还差哪本没收齐？
- 我收藏了多少立体书？我还想拥有哪些书？
- 重名的立体书太多，到底哪个才是这个作者的真实作品？
于是，我打算建一个立体书资料库。但是立体书太多，无从下手。因为我本身也是一名业余纸艺师，收藏的立体书也都是按纸艺师分类的，所以就以纸艺师为主线，收集整理了他们的作品。经过半年的时间，终于有了这个网站。
What is this website?
This website is a free online public database of pop-up book paper engineers worldwide. It includes most mainstream paper engineers since Lothar Meggendorfer and all their works, dedicated to pop-up book lovers, collectors, and paper engineers around the globe.
Why build this website?
As a humble pop-up book collector, I often had the following confusions and curiosities:
- How many paper engineers are there in the world? Which countries are they from? What is the gender ratio?
- Who is the paper engineer of this book? What other books did they make?
- Which book am I missing in this series?
- How many pop-up books do I own? Which ones do I still want?
- There are too many pop-up books with the same name, which one is actually by this author?
Therefore, I planned to build a pop-up book database. However, there are too many pop-up books to start with. Since I am an amateur paper engineer myself and my collection is sorted by paper engineers, I decided to use paper engineers as the main thread to collect and organize their works. After half a year of effort, this website finally came to life.

我选择了有商业立体书作品的主流纸艺师100多名，他们的书目主要来源于 Ann Montanaro 的 Pop-Up and Movable Books，以及 OpenLibrary、WorldCat、Goodreads、Amazon、eBay 等网站,特别感谢收藏家段超先生为本站提供了大量图片及图书信息。我尽力核实每一本书的确切纸艺师。但是肯定存在着一些错误，如果您发现问题，请随时通过邮件与我联系修改。

What are the benefits of membership?
Registered members can rate all books, have their own online bookshelf, and manage their personal collections and wishlists.
Errors in bibliography or paper engineer info?
I have selected over 100 mainstream paper engineers with commercial pop-up book works. Their bibliographies mainly come from Ann Montanaro's Pop-Up and Movable Books, websites like OpenLibrary, WorldCat, Goodreads, Amazon, eBay, Special thanks to collector Mr. Duan Chao for providing this website with a large number of pictures and book information. I have tried my best to verify the exact paper engineer for each book. However, errors certainly exist. If you find any issues, please feel free to contact me for corrections.
